Philippa Dobby: PROFILE
A dynamic and motivated showjumping professional, Philippa has been riding since the age of 5, becoming BSJA registered at the age of 9. Philippa has been a regular and popular member of the Pony Team, representing England every season at both 138cm and 148cm between the ages of 10-15 years. 
Moving from ponies to horses a year early has allowed Philippa's career to flourish, culminating in selection for the under 18 European Team, competing in the Championships (Switzerland) in July 2005.
Philippa has started 2007 in tremendous form and after being placed 3rd in the CSI* GRAND PRIX in Nantes, she has been placed in all the senior Premier Grand PRIX's at Southview, Addington and Rowallan.
Objectives for 2007
Trained by Steven and Robert Smith, Philippa is benefiting from a wealth of experience and top class knowledge, her plans for 2007 are initially to compete for a place in the under 18 European Team, as well as building and developing her existing string of horses. She will continue to build upon the success of 2006 by competing both Nationally and Internationally at Grand PRIX level, and we are looking forward to a very successful year ahead.
