Philippa Dobby: PROFILE
A dynamic and motivated showjumping professional, Philippa has been riding since the age of 5, becoming BSJA registered at the age of 9. Philippa has been a regular and popular member of the Pony Team, representing England every season at both 138cm and 148cm between the ages of 10-15 years. 
Moving from ponies to horses a year early has allowed Philippa's career to flourish, culminating in selection for the under 18 European Team, competing in the Championships (Switzerland) in July 2005.
Philippa has started 2009 in tremendous form and after being placed 3rd in the Addington Manor Senior Premier Show Grand PRIX on Utah VII.
Objectives for 2009
After putting her serious knee injury behind her, the plans for 2009 are to build and develop her existing string of horses and qualify for the Young Riders events at the British Open. Philippa will continue to build upon the excellent start to 2009 by competing both Nationally and Internationally at Grand PRIX level, and is excited about the prospects of Utah and Nivana D'oc for 2009.
